As a Contact Center Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering UNexpectedly delightful experiences to our members while ensuring their financial needs are met. This role will involve handling member inquiries, processing transactions and promoting our products and services.
This role is fully on-site in Johnston, Iowa, Monday through Friday until 6 PM with a Saturday rotation. Candidates relocating to the area are welcome.
What You’ll Do:

UNbanking Member Interaction: Engage with members across multiple channels including inbound calls, Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) sessions, secure messages on online banking platforms and website contact leads. Facilitate various transactions including check cashing, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and issuance of cashier’s checks.

Customer Service & Product Promotion: Patiently provide personalized assistance to understand each member’s financial needs. Actively refer members to the appropriate channel within the credit union to best serve their experience. Educate members on the features and benefits of various banking products, such as loans, savings accounts and certificates of deposit.

Member Support: Update member information and ensure records are accurate and up to date. Adhere to regulatory requirements and compliance standards in all interactions and transactions. Utilize credit union software and technology to efficiently process transactions and access member information. Assist members with digital banking tools and educate them on online services.

Account Maintenance: Execute account maintenance while maintaining strict adherence to protocol. Prioritize accuracy in transaction handling and promptly address member inquiries ensuring timely resolution of issues.

1-2 years of cash-handling and/or retail experience
