Senior Accountant - Technical Accounting & Corporate Reporting
Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid - 2 days onsite per week)
LHH is supporting a large, financially strong global manufacturing organization with operations across North America in its search for a
Senior Accountant . This newly created role offers exposure to technical accounting, corporate reporting, consolidations, and M&A support within a collaborative corporate accounting team.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $90,000 - $105,000
-
20% Annual bonus (historically paid at or above target)

7% retirement contribution (4% match plus 3% company contribution)

3 weeks vacation + 6 sick days + 8 paid holidays + 2 floating holidays

What You'll Do-
Research and analyze complex accounting issues under U.S. GAAP

Review customer and commercial contracts, including revenue recognition considerations under ASC 606
-
Assist with technical accounting memos and documentation
-
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reporting
-
Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and resolve reporting issues with business units
-
Prepare intercompany and consolidation entries
-
Assist with acquisition accounting and integration support
-
Partner with accounting teams across a decentralized operating environment

Support external audits, regulatory reporting, and process improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting

CPA preferred
-
3+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting
-
Senior-level public accounting experience strongly preferred
-
Strong technical accounting research skills

Experience applying ASC 606 and reviewing contracts for accounting implications

Knowledge of ASC 805, ASC 842, ASC 330, or other complex accounting areas is a plus

Ability to work independently, think critically, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
