Overview
Looking for applicants CDL Class A/Equipment Operator including those applicants that are fully qualified with appropriate license and endorsements. Reports to duty on time and exhibits the highest ethical best practices and personal integrity. Must complete all required paperwork and submit to the appropriate authority in a timely manner. As well as safely and efficiently utilize the vehicle equipment.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers and/or dump trucks for the transportation of goods.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate with foreman regarding any issues or delays during transport.
Skills
- Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Trimble Experience 7-10 years
- Strong background in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred.
- Previous experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with construction materials is a plus.
- Excellent route driving skills with a focus on efficiency and safety.
