Job Description
Shriners Children's Twin Cities has an opportunity for a Manager, Orthotics & Prosthetics to join our team in Woodbury, MN, The Manager of Orthotics & Prosthetics is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the day-to-day activities of assigned staff; assuring provisions of quality orthotic/prosthetic devices are in accordance with Physician's prescription, and to act as a resource to staff, patients, families and the general public regarding assigned areas of responsibility. Must be certified in both orthotics AND prosthetics.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, directing and managing the work of the O&P Clinical Staff, Technician Staff and Department Assistant Staff.
Establishes workflow and communication with Fabrication Center (east and west) for all custom fabrication to endure safety and quality of all devices provided to patients
Responsible for obtaining and maintaining ABC facility accreditation
Demonstrates proficiency in OPIE (O&P Business Management Software)
Functions independently to fulfill the professional responsibilities of a certified Prosthetist and/or Orthotist, including patient confidentiality
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor Orthotics and Prosthetics OR Bachelor's Degree with ABC approved Orthotic and Prosthetic certificate program and the successful completion of NCOPE residencies in both O&P
American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics
Minnesota licensure
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Card Certification
Minimum three year of Clinical and technical experience in Orthotics and Prosthetics field
Five years of experience working in a hospital or medical office with insurance authorization
Preferred Qualifications:
The pay range for this position is $118,472.64 - $177,731.84. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
