Responsibilities
- Conduct active foot patrols throughout campus
- Monitor school entrances, visitor access, and perimeter security
- Assist with student drop-off and pick-up procedures
- Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the school day
- Respond quickly and calmly to incidents or emergencies
- Communicate effectively with school administrators, faculty, parents, and students
- Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Support emergency preparedness and campus safety procedures
- Help foster a safe, respectful, and welcoming school environment
Required Qualifications
- Valid Guard Card
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean background check
- Reliable transportation
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to walk and patrol campus for extended periods
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with any of the following backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply:
- School or campus security experience
- Military service
- Law enforcement or corrections background
- Experience working with children or youth programs
- Coaching, mentoring, or leadership experience
- CPR/AED certification
- Customer service or hospitality experience
