American Traveler is hiring an Operating Room RN with MA licensure and strong ortho and cataract surgery experience for a multi-site hospital assignment.

Work across two operating room sites: Danvers Surgical Center (4 ORs) and Beverly Hospital (10 OR suites)
-
Schedule includes 3 days per week at Danvers (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and 2 rotating days/evenings per week at Beverly Hospital (latest shift 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM)

40 hours per week over a 13-week assignment

Surgical services include General, GYN, Orthopedics (total joints), GU, ENT, Vascular, Robotics, and Spine

Uses Epic EMR
-
May be required to float to Addison Gilbert Hospital if needed
-
On-call responsibilities at Beverly Hospital may include 2-3 call shifts per schedule period, either 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM on weeknights or 12-hour weekend shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Call response time is 30 minutes

Active MA RN license required

BLS certification (AHA) required

Epic EMR experience required

Strong experience in orthopedic and cataract surgery required

Must be able to scrub DaVinci Robotics cases and orthopedic procedures

Spine surgery experience is a plus

Flu vaccine required prior to start with no personal or religious exemptions accepted

COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed

Candidates must not have worked in a permanent, per diem, or travel capacity at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility within the past six months

Facility is described as extremely traveler-friendly

Previous travel experience preferred

Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate

Candidates must reside within 50 miles for the standard rate

Perform scrub duties for a variety of surgical specialties including general, GYN, orthopedics, GU, ENT, vascular, robotics, and spine procedures
