Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and spirits service, while maintaining proper drink presentation standards
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling to enhance guest satisfaction and sales revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service
- Foster guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or casual upscale settings
- Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to increase sales while enhancing guest experience
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor
