Relief Manager – Self Storage Facility
We are looking for a dependable, customer-focused Relief Manager to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, takes pride in providing excellent customer service, and can confidently manage daily operations while working independently.
What We're Looking For
Sales skills are a must! You should be comfortable selling over the phone and in person, converting inquiries into rentals, and providing outstanding customer service. We're looking for someone who is motivated, organized, and able to solve problems with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Strong sales and customer service experience
- Excellent communication and telephone etiquette
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Computer proficiency, including typing and general office software
- Experience using standard office equipment (copier, printer, calculator, etc.)
- Cash handling experience and ability to count change accurately
- Professional written communication skills
- Physically able to perform the duties of the position
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass a background check
- We are a non-smoking facility
Daily Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Selling storage units over the phone and in person
- U-Haul Rentals
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Walking the property to inspect for cleanliness and safety
- Sweeping and cleaning storage units and U-Haul trucks
- Keeping the property clean, including snow removal during winter months
- Performing minor maintenance (changing light bulbs, cutting or replacing locks, etc.)
- Maintaining accurate files and paperwork
- Answering customer calls, texts, and emails
- Receiving and stocking inventory
- Assisting customers with U-Haul truck and trailer rentals
- Managing daily property operations when the Property Manager is not on site
Physical Requirements
Applicants must be able to:
- Lift at least 50 pounds
- Walk the property, including hills and uneven terrain
- Clean storage units
- Lift and operate overhead storage unit doors
- Perform routine maintenance tasks
- Work safely and effectively on their own

Pay: Monthly (paid on the last business day of each month).
Pay: $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
