Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Part-Time, with potential to become Full-Time
Dharma Trading Co. has been serving textile artists since 1969. As a long-established company with a strong e-commerce presence, we are currently seeking an experienced accounting professional to help support and strengthen our accounting department during a period of growth and modernization.
We recently transitioned to Shopify Plus and QuickBooks Online and are looking for someone who can help us refine processes, improve efficiency, and support our existing accounting team.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support general accounting functions
- Work within QuickBooks Online and Shopify Plus
- Reconcile deposits and payment processors
- Assist with month-end procedures and reporting
- Help establish best practices and improve workflows
- Provide guidance and training to existing accounting staff
- Serve as a hands-on resource during our continued transition to modern systems
Qualifications
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
- Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus (required)
- Previous bookkeeping experience for an e-commerce business strongly preferred
- Familiarity with payment processors and reconciliation processes
- Ability to teach, mentor, and work collaboratively with others
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
