SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Therapist/Clinician will provide high-quality behavioral health services to Hopkins ElderPlus clients in compliance with BTST Services policies, COMAR standards, and all state and federal regulations. Services are delivered on site at Johns Hopkins Bayview within the Hopkins ElderPlus PACE Adult Day Program. The specific responsibilities of the position include the following:

Provide clinical and therapeutic services to older adults, including individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, advocacy, diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and discharge planning.

Complete initial intake and assessment for Hopkins ElderPlus clients.

Develop treatment plans in accordance with program requirements and complete required annual treatment plan reviews/updates.

Participate in interdisciplinary teamwork with the Hopkins ElderPlus care team and collaborate with community providers as needed to support coordinated care.

Complete timely, accurate documentation of all treatment efforts and client progress in accordance with agency standards, licensure requirements, and COMAR regulations.

Abide by all safety rules and regulations of the agency and the Johns Hopkins Bayview facility.

Maintain ethical standards per licensure and perform services in a professional manner consistent with the mission and values of BTST Services.

Perform other duties as assigned in support of program goals and quality standards.
SUPERVISION AND COORDINATION OF SERVICES
The Therapist/Clinician reports directly to their immediate supervisor and/or the Clinic Director. The Therapist/Clinician will also collaborate with Hopkins ElderPlus interdisciplinary team members and other care providers to coordinate services and support participant care. The Therapist/Clinician adheres to the ethics of their respective profession.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The Therapist/Clinician must have the following experience, knowledge, or abilities:

Maintainnprofessional license in the state of MD to provide therapy services.

Experience working with, or demonstrated competence in providing services to, the assigned population, including older adults/geriatric participants in a medical or community-based setting.

Knowledge of common behavioral health needs in the geriatric population (e.g., grief/loss, chronic medical conditions, cognitive changes) and ability to provide age-appropriate interventions.

Competency in treatment planning, advocacy, and clinical skills.

Ability to function effectively on an interdisciplinary treatment team.

Excellent written, interpersonal, and oral communication skills.

Sensitivity to and understanding of cultural diversity and special needs populations.
Age Requirement: Be at least 21 years of age
Education and Experience: Mental Health Professional licensed by the state of Maryland (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC). Experience as required by the credentialing process.
