Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities, ensuring that all laundry services meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in hotel environments and possess strong skills in laundering and dry cleaning.
Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities to ensure a pristine environment.
- Launder linens, towels, and other items according to established procedures, ensuring proper washing, drying, and folding techniques.
- Handle dry cleaning services as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care and returned promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and laundry products, notifying management when reorders are necessary.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably within a hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of laundering techniques, including the use of various cleaning agents and equipment.
- Ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and guests professionally.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
