Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support menu planning by preparing daily specials and seasonal offerings
- Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Assist with food prep for catering events or large orders as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is a plus
- Strong food handling, preparation, and cooking skills, including knife proficiency
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Experience in food service environments such as restaurants or catering is highly desirable
- Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, and kitchen operations within the food industry
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Basic understanding of culinary techniques and food industry best practices
