Dos Castillos Concrete is seeking a experienced Concrete Workers to execute high-quality concrete work. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years hands-on experience with various aspects of concrete work from forming to finishing. They will have the ability to work efficiently on commercial and residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- Set forms and ensure proper reinforcement placement before pours.
- Work with foremen to execute job plans, ensuring proper drainage and structural integrity.
- Safely operate machinery like the skid steer or excavator.
- Operate bull floats, screeds, and hand tools with precision.
- Cut, saw, and demo existing concrete for repair or replacement.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, following all safety protocols.
Requirements:
- 1-5 years of experience in concrete work
- Experience in all aspects from setting forms to completion of pour and cleanup.
- Experience with cutting, saw work, and demolition of existing concrete.
- Ability to accurately grade and level concrete surfaces.
- Experience with tying and installing rebar.
- Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must complete 3 days of shadow training at $180 per day. After completion normal pay begins at rate agreed to upon hiring.
