Job Summary:
The Fiscal Support Specialist will support grant fiscal operations by managing invoice processing, payment reconciliation, financial recordkeeping, and compliance activities. This role is responsible for reviewing and tracking invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting grant administration, assisting with audits and federal reviews, and providing administrative support to the grants management team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts payable, fiscal or administrative support, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with financial management systems and Microsoft Excel.
Required Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, invoice processing, fiscal support, or administrative support.
- Experience with financial management or grant management systems.
- Experience working with federal or state grants is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and Microsoft Excel skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process, review, track, and reconcile grant-related invoices and payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records and audit-ready documentation.
- Enter and manage data in financial or grant management systems.
- Support financial reporting, compliance monitoring, and grant fiscal activities.
- Coordinate with program staff, subgrantees, fiscal teams, and federal reviewers to resolve documentation and payment issues.
- Assist with audits, monitoring visits, and compliance reviews.
- Ensure adherence to grant policies, financial procedures, and documentation standards.
- Provide administrative support, prepare reports, assist with subgrantee training, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
