Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $30 - $30 / hour*
What you'll be doing as a Maintenance Mechanic:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical components of production equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mixers, ovens, conveyors, packaging machines, and refrigeration systems
- Diagnose and repair motors, drives, sensors, relays, contactors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, bearings, chains, and gearboxes
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control panels, and PLC-controlled equipment
- Install, test, and replace electrical components, wiring, and mechanical parts as required
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential failures and minimize downtime
- Support equipment installations, upgrades, and production line improvement projects
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Follow all safety, food safety, and GMP requirements
Available shifts:
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day) and 2nd Shift (Evening)
Job requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with bakery or food manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with motors, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, conveyors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices
- Welding and fabrication experience is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns
- Background check and drug screening required
