Ascend Staffing is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a pulp mill facility in Centralia, WA!

Weekly Pay-$23.00 per hour

Day Shift
Sunday – Thursday
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Full-Time Schedule
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems
Repair and replace equipment components including:
Bearings
Motors
Pumps
Valves
Gearboxes
Belts
Chains
Perform equipment inspections and identify potential failures
Assist with equipment repairs and shutdown projects
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals
Complete maintenance work orders and documentation
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
Follow OSHA and company safety standards
Work with production teams to reduce equipment downtime
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Assist with additional maintenance duties as assigned
Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred
Mechanical troubleshooting experience
Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, or pneumatics preferred
Ability to diagnose equipment issues
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable performing physical maintenance work
