Legacy Coop is looking for a full-time, friendly, detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our ENERGY team Scottsbluff, NE. In this role, you will assist customers and employees in sales and delivery of energy products and perform all department accounting functions. This position is on-site/in person ONLYso the ideal candidate lives in or around Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
The Customer Service Representative position is full-time and comes with Legacy Coop's full-time benefits package including retirement, 401K, holiday, vacation and sick time, as well as competitive pay.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
-Take fuel and propane orders over the phone and in person from customers and branch locations. Handle all paperwork involved in the order, dispatch the driver and distribute the information to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Maintain appropriate records including tankwagon driver load and delivery reports and station sales sheets.
-Take calls and write up work orders for propane service department, maintain schedule and prepare invoices.
-Provide all aspects of customer service including writing contracts, scheduling service work and delivery etc for walk in and phone customers.
-Maintain appropriate records for energy contracts, tank leases, tank rent, inventory, Fire Marshall reports. Maintain and update information as needed.
-Assist energy sales coordinator and accounting staff in preparation of governmental reporting within deadlines.
-Prepare company transfers for various fuel department locations and any other energy accounting required.
-Provide backup duties for energy sales coordinator position including pricing, ordering and dispatching of energy products.
-Conduct all tasks in a safety conscious manner, alerting management to all safety concerns.
-Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of related experience or training
- Working computer knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Accuracy and speed are essential.
- Ability to learn new computer software
-Excellent written and verbal communication
- Must be organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
