About the Opportunity
We are an established, high-volume independent auto repair facility seeking a professional, driven Service Advisor to join our team. The Role
As our Service Advisor, you serve as the critical bridge between customers, technicians, and leadership. You will manage the full customer journey—from initial write-up and diagnosis communication to repair recommendations, follow-ups, and delivery—while thriving in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough write-ups and clearly explain technical recommendations from our ASE-certified technicians.
- Build trust through transparent communication, accurate estimates, and honest advice—never high-pressure sales.
- Act as the primary point of contact, coordinating seamlessly with technicians on job status, parts needs, and timelines.
- Multi-task effectively across phone calls, digital appointments, customer updates, invoicing, and shop workflow using Tekmetric and related systems.
- Present repair options with confidence, focusing on value, safety, and long-term reliability.
- Maintain strong relationships with both customers and the technical team to ensure high-quality, efficient repairs and smooth daily operations.
- Follow structured processes while adapting to the dynamic needs of a busy shop.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor, Writer, or similar role in automotive repair or hospitality management (strong customer-facing and multi-tasking experience is highly transferable).
- Strong technical understanding of vehicles (GM/Corvette knowledge a plus) and the ability to translate complex diagnostics into clear customer language.
- Exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills—you thrive when managing multiple vehicles, customers, and priorities simultaneously.
- Professional, positive communicator with a customer-first mindset and team-player attitude.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a drive for results in a systems-driven environment
