Job Overview:
We are currently seeking an Experienced Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to move raw materials and products in a safe and efficient manner. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that our production and warehouse operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Safely transport products or materials to designated areas
- Perform order picking and ensure accuracy in product selection and placement
- Inspect equipment before each use and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment is required
- Strong knowledge of basic math for inventory management
- Ability to perform basic equipment repairs is preferred
- Proficient in order picking techniques
- English language proficency in verbal and written communications
- Proficient in order picking techniques
- Excellent skills in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts
- Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physical tasks as required
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues with equipment is a plus
