Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and precise Experienced Heavy Machine Operator to join our dynamic construction team.
Duties
- Operate heavy construction machinery including excavators, loaders, backhoes to perform excavation, grading, and underground utility work.
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
- Perform construction utility locating to identify underground utilities before excavation begins, preventing damage and ensuring safety.
- Execute construction grading tasks with precision to meet project specifications and quality standards.
- Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with construction site setup, including site clearing, leveling, and preparation for subsequent phases of the project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery mainly excavators and dozers
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Construction site experience with familiarity in excavation, utility work, grading, and general construction activities. Experience in earthworks, precises excavation around utility lines etc.
- Bonus for operators with Drill Rig experience for future ongoing job at another site
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
