VARC, Inc. is looking for a Director of Marketing & Communications who can help shape how our organization shows up in the world.
This is not just a flyers-and-Facebook kind of role. We need someone who can think strategically, write clearly, organize moving parts, strengthen brand consistency, and tell the story of a mission-driven organization doing meaningful work across Wisconsin.
VARC supports individuals with varying abilities through employment, day services, community-based supports, transportation, childcare, contract manufacturing, and programs that help people work, connect, and thrive.
The right person for this role is both creative and practical. You can see the big picture, but you also know the big picture falls apart if nobody updates the website, manages the timeline, or proofreads the brochure before it goes to print.
In this role, you will lead marketing, communications, brand management, content strategy, digital presence, campaign planning, and cross-functional marketing coordination across a multi-location organization.. You’ll work closely with leadership, programs, development, grants, operations and other teams to keep VARC’s messaging clear, consistent, accurate, and aligned with where the organization is going.
