Workplace Coordinator to join their Administrative team on a contract-to-perm basis. This individual will play a key role in supporting daily office operations and fostering an organized, collaborative workplace. This is an open-ended contract opportunity.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$30/hr
Position Overview:
The Workplace Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to leadership and internal teams while overseeing the day-to-day functions of the office. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a professional and welcoming office atmosphere.
Responsibilities of the Workplace Coordinator:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office operations and administrative support.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate conference room reservations.
- Welcome clients, candidates, vendors, and visitors while maintaining a polished front desk presence.
- Coordinate office logistics, including mail, deliveries, and vendor relationships.
- Order office supplies, snacks, and equipment while managing inventory.
- Support leadership and cross-functional teams with administrative tasks and special projects.
- Assist with meeting coordination, team events, and internal communications.
- Maintain office policies, procedures, and operational documentation.
- Ensure the office remains organized, well-stocked, and operating efficiently.
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Workplace Coordinator:
- 2+ years of experience in an office coordinator, administrative, receptionist, or office management role.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, customer-service-oriented demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential information.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Workplace Coordinator:
- Experience supporting a technology, fintech, financial services, or startup environment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
- Familiarity with workplace collaboration tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, or similar platforms.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
