The Arc Westchester is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to join our team.
Responsibilities:

Provide personalized support to individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD) in residential settings and the community.

Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, medication administration, and household chores.

Facilitate leisure activities, social outings, and community involvement.

Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in your care.

Transport individuals to appointments, activities, and outings.
Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma/GED OR HHA/CNA certification (certifications can be expired) and or 2 years of related experience in leu of High School Diploma.

Valid NYS driver's license for at least 2 years
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a caregiving role.

Certification in CPR and First Aid.

Training in behavior management techniques or related fields.

Familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
