Job Description:
Will work intimately with children and their families to assist with behavior modification and skill building for independence in everyday living. Use Evidence based practice to optimize outcomes. Will assist the clinical supervisor with assessment, the development of implementation plans and completion of progress reviews.
Qualifications:
Must have 4 years or a Masters Degree in Human Service Field. This would include social work, psychology, nursing, education, recreational therapy, etc. Must have a 40 hours of Applied Behavior Analysis training course, which can completed through Excellence. Must also have 1 year supervised experience, or 1040 hours working with children who have developmental disabilities. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively through verbal and written language. Must pass a criminal background check through the Department of Health and Welfare, must be willing to become CPR and First Aid Certified, and complete required coursework.
