Homareya is an Izakaya by opened by chef Yoya Takahashi this summer in Downtown Long Beach following a concept of delicious, warm, and fun atmosphere similar to home.
We are excited to open a new Japanese izakaya-style restaurant in the heart of Long Beach and are looking for passionate, reliable, and hard-working individuals to join our opening team! If you love Japanese cuisine, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences, we’d love to meet you.
Homareya is currently looking for motivated front-of-house employees and kitchen staff. We are seeking candidates who can leverage their previous experience and contribute value to our restaurant.
Requirements:
- Experience in a Japanese restaurant is preferred (not required)
- Friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to learn about Japanese cuisine, sake, and izakaya-style service
- Toast POS experience
- Food Handlers and Responsible Beverage Service certification
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent service to guests and ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Share knowledge about menu items and make recommendations
- Assist with setting up, cleaning, and resetting tables
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Hourly wage will be determined based on experience. Details will be discussed during the interview.
