Join a Growing Medical & Specialty Eye Care Practice
Performance Vision Center is seeking a motivated, patient-focused Clinical Technician & Optical Specialist to join our team.
This hybrid position is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient care and eyewear. The role will primarily support our doctors through clinical testing and patient workups while also assisting patients in selecting eyewear and lenses when needed.
As our practice continues to grow in specialty services including dry eye treatment, myopia management, specialty contact lenses, and advanced diagnostic testing, we are looking for a team member who enjoys learning, helping patients, and being an important part of a collaborative team.
Primary ResponsibilitiesClinical Technician Duties (Approximately 70%)
- Escort patients through the examination process
- Obtain patient histories and chief complaints
- Perform pre-testing and diagnostic imaging
- Conduct visual field testing, retinal imaging, OCT, and other diagnostic procedures
- Assist with contact lens training and education
- Prepare patients for examination
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Support doctor workflow and patient flow throughout the day
Optical Duties (Approximately 30%)
- Assist patients with frame selection
- Educate patients on lens options and recommendations
- Perform frame adjustments and minor repairs
- Assist with eyewear dispensing and troubleshooting
- Support optical sales and patient satisfaction
- Help maintain an organized and attractive optical showroom

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
