We're looking for experienced Avionics Technicians to support the RAPCON-X aircraft modification program focused on Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (ISR) systems. You'll work hands-on with military and government aircraft, installing and integrating advanced avionics that directly support critical missions.
What You'll Be Doing
Every day is different, but your work may include:
- Installing, modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft avionics systems
- Performing complex aircraft wiring installations and system upgrades
- Routing, terminating, and testing aircraft wiring and connectors
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
- Supporting aircraft modification and systems integration efforts from start to finish
- Using precision test equipment to verify system performance
- Maintaining quality documentation while meeting FAA, military, and company standards
- Working alongside experienced aerospace professionals in a collaborative hangar environment
What You Bring
We're looking for technicians who can hit the ground running.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of avionics installation, modification, maintenance, or troubleshooting experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and maintenance manuals
- Proficiency with:
- Aircraft wiring installation and repair
- Wire routing
- Soldering
- Crimping
- Connector termination
- Personal aircraft maintenance tools in good working condition
Connector Experience
Hands-on experience with:
Bonus Points If You Have...
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
- FCC GROL
- Aerospace & Defense, Department of Defense, NASA, or military aviation experience
- Experience using oscilloscopes, pitot-static equipment, and other avionics test equipment
- Experience with TRIAX, QUADRAX, Fiber Optic assemblies, or El Ochito RF connectors
- Flexibility to travel when project requirements call for it
Aircraft Experience

Expect a fast-paced hangar environment where you'll work around active aircraft, specialized tooling, and cutting-edge avionics systems. The role requires standing, climbing, lifting, and working in typical aircraft maintenance conditions.
