Responsibilities
- Interpret film & digital radiographs
- Perform process control checks & statistical process monitoring
- Write & approve procedures and work instructions
- Design, prototype, and implement nondestructive sensor systems to solve manufacturing quality problems
- Prototype early inspection development and bench-top validation to reduce risk for new technologies
- Interface with vendors, tooling and automation groups to define requirements, manage projects through to delivery
- Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions
- Understand and debug hardware and software interactions during design, launch, and deployment
- Use field data to improve design and performance of NDE systems
Core Competencies
- ASNT RT III
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- +5 years NDT Experience
- Previously Certified Film Radiography in accordance with: NAS 410
- Works autonymously
- Good written, oral, and presentation skills
- Experience training NDT assistants
- Proficiency with different NDT data acquisition softwares
- Expertise interpreting 2D engineering drawings and model drawings
- High competence with Industry Standards
- ASTM, ASME, AWS, etc..
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, physics, or computer science
- 6+ years of hands-on technical engineering experience
- Previously Certified CR/DR in accordance with: NAS 410
- Advanced Manufacturing Experience
- Castings
- EB Welds
- Explosion Bonding
- Composites
- Laser Welding
- Powder Metallurgy
- Knowledge of a variety of NDE techniques such as ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing, digital radiography testing, etc.
- Knowledge of industrial automation
- Experience with software and automation coding (Labview, Python, C#, SQL)
- Experience with POD Studies
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Controls
- Experience with root cause analysis
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar task/feature tracking systems
- Experience with quality systems (ISO 9000/AS9100/NADCAP)
Additonal Requirements
- Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends to meet critical deadlines when/if needed
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run
- Must be willing and able to travel to customer sites on an as needed basis, ~75% travel required.
Itar Requirements
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C.
- 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
