- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must have completed 6 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units.
- Must meet California Title 22 licensing requirements for employment in a licensed preschool.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Passion for working with young children in a Christian environment.

As a Preschool Aide, you will support our teaching team by helping create a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom where children can learn, grow, and thrive. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children, is a dependable team player, and is excited to be part of a faith-based preschool community.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment at all times.
- Assist the teacher in implementing daily classroom routines and activities.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play while maintaining active supervision.
- Support children’s social-emotional development using positive guidance techniques.
- Assist children with toileting and diapering needs (when applicable).
- Help prepare classroom materials and learning activities.
- Clean and sanitize toys, tables, and classroom materials according to health and licensing standards.
- Follow all California Title 22 licensing regulations and school policies.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding children, families, and staff.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents and fellow staff members.
- Step into different classrooms as needed to provide support throughout the school.
- Model Christ-like character through words, attitudes, and actions.
- Participate in daily staff prayer and spiritual encouragement.
- Build positive, caring relationships with children and families.
- Support teachers in incorporating Biblical principles into classroom activities.
- Help create an environment where children experience God’s love through daily interactions.
- Help monitor classroom supplies and communicate needs to the lead teacher.
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development as required.
- Complete assigned duties in a timely and dependable manner.
- Be flexible in assisting wherever support is needed throughout the preschool.
- Frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift children and classroom materials.
- Lift up to 40 pounds.
- Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Participate in active play with young children throughout the day.
