The Scripps Health Peri-Operative Education Program (PEP)/OR Transition Program provides the learning environment and essential foundation for a rewarding and successful career in peri-operative nursing. This six-month (24 weeks) training program is based on the Association of Peri-Operative Registered Nurses (AORN) Peri-Op 101 Program. The program utilizes a blended learning approach of didactic on-line modules, assigned reading, videos, lectures, observations, labs, and clinical rotations in surgical services.
