Gwyndows Window Cleaning is looking for dependable, hardworking people to join our team as Window Cleaning & Exterior Cleaning Technicians.
No professional window cleaning experience? That's okay. We'll train you.
We're looking for people who show up, work hard, pay attention to the details, and are comfortable interacting with customers. We'll teach you the techniques, equipment, and safety procedures needed to professionally clean windows and perform our other exterior cleaning services.
If you like working with your hands, being outside, moving throughout the day, and seeing the difference your work makes, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
Our technicians work at homes and businesses throughout the greater Austin area. Depending on the day's schedule, you may:
- Clean interior and exterior windows
- Clean window screens, tracks, and sills
- Perform gutter cleaning
- Perform pressure washing
- Use ladders, squeegees, water-fed poles, and other professional cleaning equipment
- Move and set up equipment safely at each property
- Protect customers' homes, landscaping, furniture, and belongings while working
- Inspect your work and make sure the job is completed to Gwyndows' quality standards
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers
- Work independently or as part of a crew depending on the job
- Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and organized
Some days you'll work at several residential homes. Other days may include larger homes or commercial properties.
This is active, hands-on work. You won't spend your day sitting behind a desk.

Previous window cleaning experience is not required.
Experience in window cleaning, pressure washing, landscaping, construction, maintenance, moving, painting, roofing, exterior cleaning, or another hands-on job is a plus.
Pay
During Training: $20.00 per hour
You'll receive paid, hands-on training while learning Gwyndows' window cleaning techniques, equipment, safety procedures, and service standards.
After Training: Commission-Based Pay
Upon successful completion of training, technicians transition to Gwyndows' commission-based compensation plan. Under the commission plan, your earnings are based on the work you complete rather than simply the number of hours you are on the clock. Productive technicians have the opportunity to increase their earnings as they become more skilled and efficient.
Weekly hours and earnings will vary based on customer demand, scheduling, weather, job volume, and individual production. A minimum number of hours or jobs is not guaranteed.
Schedule
Monday–Friday with a 7:30 AM start time.
The workday starts at our North Austin office. Technicians are expected to be at the office and ready to begin work at 7:30 AM, including preparing for and departing for the day's first scheduled job.
The ending time varies depending on the day's schedule, job locations, weather, and workload. Some days may finish earlier, while busier days may extend later.
Because window and exterior cleaning are affected by weather and seasonal customer demand, some weeks may be busier than others. A minimum number of weekly hours or jobs is not guaranteed.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable with a consistent 7:30 AM start time while understanding that the length of each workday may vary.

What You Need
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to our North Austin office
- Ability to consistently be ready to begin work at 7:30 AM Monday through Friday
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver ladders and equipment
- Ability to bend, reach, climb, and remain physically active throughout the workday
- Comfortable working outdoors in Texas weather
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers
