Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and project flow.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure clarity and compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize construction estimating tools and HeavyBid software to prepare accurate cost forecasts and manage financial aspects.
- Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work quality meets standards.
- Manage project documentation including change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and progress reports using construction management software like ProCore or Bluebeam.
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify work progress aligns with plans and specifications while maintaining strict time management practices.
- Facilitate project meetings to coordinate schedules, resolve issues promptly, and keep all stakeholders informed.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, ProCore, <PERSON>, Construction estimating software, and other construction management tools.
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and project scheduling techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective project coordination among diverse teams.
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Construction site experience is essential; familiarity with civil or structural projects is preferred. Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
