Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, utilizing your mixology expertise and beverage recipe development skills
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems ensuring timely delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and making personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Process cash transactions efficiently while managing cash handling responsibilities with accuracy
- Assist with food service duties when needed, including serving meals at tables or during catering events such as banquets
- Support bar management in inventory control, restocking supplies, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on beverage preparation and customer interaction
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with processing cash transactions is essential
- Demonstrated skills in cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits expertise, and beverage recipe development
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and orders efficiently during busy hours
- Prior fine dining or catering experience is preferred; banquet experience is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality setting while maintaining high standards of service
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and order calculations; food safety certification is desirable
- Hospitality industry experience with a focus on customer service excellence and teamwork
