SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including light maintenance tasks, customer deliveries, monitoring fuel tank levels, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and loading area. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency and delivering excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide excellent customer service and establish positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Conduct all interactions in a professional, courteous, and safety-conscious manner.
- Monitor customer fuel tank levels and report concerns or irregularities as needed.
- Assist with the safe loading and unloading of shipments and materials.
- Deliver packaged oil and other products to customers as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse, yard, and loading area.
- Perform light maintenance and general housekeeping duties as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist other company locations with similar duties and operational needs as required.
- Communicate openly and effectively with supervisors regarding work progress, operational concerns, and customer needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Forklift certification required or the ability to successfully obtain certification upon hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
- Basic knowledge of state and federal regulations related to fuels and oils preferred.
- Basic math and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read, write legibly, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Class B license preferred.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is primarily performed outdoors and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, moving equipment, and other safety hazards commonly associated with warehouse and fuel operations.
The employee must be able to:
- Climb ladders and work at varying heights.
- Walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach as needed.
- Frequently lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment and tools.
SCHEDULE
- Standard schedule is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
- Must be available to work overtime and Saturdays as business needs require.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant warehouse, delivery, or related experience preferred.
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
