A rapidly growing commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its leadership team.
This is an opportunity to join a builder-driven organization experiencing significant growth across the Southwest. The company delivers a diverse portfolio of ground-up commercial projects including retail developments, convenience stores, travel centers, quick-service restaurants, car washes, and other commercial facilities.
What You'll Do
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout
- Own project budgets, forecasting, contracts, change management, and schedules
- Lead client communication and maintain strong owner relationships
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and internal project teams
- Drive project profitability while protecting margins and managing risk
- Partner closely with field leadership to ensure successful project execution
- Mentor and develop Project Engineers and support staff
What We're Looking For
- 5–12+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- Experience independently managing ground-up commercial projects
- Strong financial acumen including forecasting, budgeting, and cost control
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in various stages simultaneously
- Experience with retail, convenience store, restaurant, fuel station, or light commercial projects is highly desirable
- Proven ability to bring projects across the finish line
