Be part of something exciting from the very beginning. We’re launching a brand-new Volkswagen dealership in Newnan, GA, and we’re looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to help build and lead a high-performing Sales team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Sales Manager will play a key role in establishing the dealership’s sales culture, developing team members, driving customer satisfaction, and achieving sales and profitability goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, coach, and motivate the Sales team to achieve monthly goals
- Manage daily sales operations and showroom activity
- Work closely with Sales Consultants to develop leads and maximize opportunities
- Assist with customer negotiations and deal structure
- Monitor sales performance, appointments, closing ratios, and customer satisfaction
- Conduct sales meetings, training, and performance coaching
- Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve escalated concerns
- Work closely with the BDC, F&I, and Service departments
- Ensure dealership policies, manufacturer standards, and compliance requirements are followed
- Assist with inventory management, pricing, merchandising, and sales strategies
- Recruit, train, and develop Sales team members
- Help establish a positive, competitive, and team-focused dealership culture
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous automotive sales management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive sales and dealership operations
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Results-driven with a focus on sales and profitability
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented leadership style
