Roots Head Spa & Wellness Lounge is a growing wellness business located in the heart of Matawan, NJ and Manchester NH with Future locations to come. We seek a Head Spa specialist in non-invasive beauty and scalp-health treatments in our Matawan Area location, offering vitamin-infused scalp services, deep shampoo rituals, restorative nourishment protocols, and relaxation experiences in a quiet, private suite setting.

What You’ll Do
- Perform scalp-focused wellness services including:
- Vitamin-infused scalp treatments
- Deep shampoo & scalp cleansing rituals
- Scalp massage protocols
- Relaxation-chair / non-invasive wellness enhancements
- Provide a calm, welcoming, professional experience for every guest.
- Maintain a clean, organized suite environment aligned with our luxury brand.
- Build and manage your own client book over time.
- Educate clients on at-home scalp health and product recommendations.
- Uphold privacy and professionalism with one-client-at-a-time service flow.
Hair Loss & Restoration Expansion Support
- Conduct private consultations for clients experiencing thinning, balding, or medical hair loss
- Recommend and guide clients through wig, topper, and hair-replacement options with sensitivity and discretion
- Design scalp-health regimens that support regrowth and complement restoration strategies
What We’re Looking For
- NJ-licensed cosmetologist or hairstylist – minimum 3 years experience under the NJ Board of Cosmetology & Hairstyling.
- Experience with scalp evaluation, thinning/balding consultations, hair regrowth strategies, or wig/topper fitting and styling strongly preferred
- Comfort supporting clients through emotionally sensitive hair-loss journeys with warmth and professionalism
- Highly reliable, dependable, and consistently punctual.
- A self-starter with the ability to build and retain, and grow a strong client base.
- Personable, warm, and professional in all guest interactions.
- Reliability, punctuality and responsibility is a requirement.
- Organized, clean, and detail-oriented without the need for close supervision.
- Comfortable working independently in a private suite environment.
- Passionate about scalp health, beauty, relaxation, and client wellness.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
