Position Summary!
In this role, you will deliver exceptional skincare treatments, customize regimens to address individual client needs, and provide an elevated, relaxing experience. The ideal candidate possesses deep knowledge of skin biology, a mastery of modern facial techniques and treatment modalities, and a natural ability to build lasting client relationships, all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and hospitality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver service with care and attention, always prioritizing quality and the well-being of the Members.
- Greet members and their guests in a friendly and professional manner, and ensure the individual feels comfortable and informed throughout the treatment.
- Conduct thorough skin analyses, review medical histories/intake forms, and design customized short- and long-term treatment plans.
- Perform high-quality facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, waxing, and other specialized skin treatments in accordance with state licensing standards.
- Maintain an expert-level understanding of our retail skincare lines. Educate members on home-care regimens and achieve monthly retail and treatment goals.
- Provide a warm, professional, and tranquil environment. Build strong client retention through personalized follow-ups and rebooking strategies.
- Maintain pristine cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms. Sterilize tools and equipment according to state board regulations and internal safety protocols.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper disinfection of tools and surfaces between every appointment.
- Manage the schedule and adhere to bookings ensuring sessions begin and end on time, providing a seamless transition for the next person.
- Maintain absolute discretion regarding personal health information and conversations held during treatments.
- Accurately log client treatments, skin reactions, product usage, and preferences in the spa management software.
- Any other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid State Esthetician or Cosmetology license required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working as an aesthetician in a luxury day spa, medical spa, or resort environment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills which foster a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
- Proficiency in advanced modalities (e.g., LED light therapy, microcurrent, or high-frequency machines) is a strong plus

Working Conditions:
- You will be working in a spa environment, which involves standing for extended periods of time.
- You may be exposed to chemicals and fragrances used in beauty treatments.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Sufficient strength and steady hands to perform repetitive massage movements for 60–90-minute sessions.
- Fine motor skills and hand dexterity are required to operate aesthetic equipment and perform facial massages.
- Ability to stand and move for the duration of an 8-hour shift.
- Abilit to lift up to 30 lbs. (linens, supplies, etc.) and move equipment as needed.
