At Evolution Pilates & Flow, we believe movement is a lifelong practice of growth, strength, and transformation. We are seeking experienced, passionate Pilates instructors who are committed to helping clients evolve not only physically, but holistically.
We are currently hiring instructors who value intentional movement, exceptional member care, and creating an inclusive, supportive environment for individuals at all stages of their wellness journey.
Position Details
- Compensation:$55-$60/hour, dependent on experience
- Location: Evolution Pilates & Flow - E. Central Austin - exact address at time of interview confirmation
- Available teaching hours: mornings and some evenings, mostly weekdays
- Preferred Experience: Minimum of 3 years teaching Pilates
- Bonus Qualifications: Experience in yoga, meditation, breathwork, or other mind-body practices and fitness certifications
Who We're Looking For
Our ideal instructor:
- Certified in a comprehensive Pilates program - Mat + Reformer
- Adaptable to a specific flow we are creating at Evolution.
- Has a strong foundation in Pilates principles, anatomy & movement mechanics
- Is skilled at working with clients of varying ages, abilities, and fitness levels
- Creates a welcoming, encouraging, and empowering environment
- Understands the importance of movement as part of whole-person wellness
- Brings professionalism, warmth, and excellent communication skills to every session
- Is prepared, organized and possess a genuine love for movement and pilates
- Understands that flow is just as important as the sequence.
- Certified in CPR/AED preferred
The Interview Process
We are intentionally seeking instructors with a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience who are passionate about movement as a lifelong practice. Additional training in yoga, meditation, breathwork, or holistic wellness is highly valued.
We believe the best way to get to know an instructor is through movement.
Please plan to spend approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes with us for the interview process.
Part 1: Teaching Session (45 minutes)
Candidates will lead a 45-minute Pilates class designed around three key movement themes:
- Hip flexion and lower body strength
- Balance and stability
- Overall core strength and integration
This session gives us an opportunity to experience your teaching style, cueing, programming, client engagement, and overall approach to movement.
Part 2: Conversation & Q&A (15-20 minutes)
Following the class, we'll spend time getting to know you, discussing your experience, teaching philosophy, and exploring whether Evolution Pilates is the right fit for both of us.
