We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our Food Truck culinary team. In this role, you will be essential in preparing high-quality food for various events, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your culinary skills directly contribute to memorable experiences for our clients.
Duties on the Food Truck
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for cooking, following established recipes and menu specifications
- Cook a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in presentation and taste
- Assist with menu planning and food preparation for different events and catering needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and safety procedures
- Support food service operations by serving dishes efficiently and courteously to guests or event attendees
- Handle food with care, adhering to all food safety standards and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation during busy service periods
Skills
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Experience in restaurant or catering environments demonstrating excellent food service skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with menu planning, food industry standards, and kitchen operations
