We're looking to hire motivated individuals to join our Mortgage Loan Officer Trainee Program at our Troy, Michigan headquarters. We'll teach you everything you need to know and provide ongoing support and guidance. We'll help you build a successful career in the mortgage industry.
This is a full-time, M-F, 8-5, on-site, W-2 position with benefits, paid training, and unlimited earning potential.
What You'll Do
- Learn the mortgage process from industry professionals
- Build relationships with prospective homeowners through outbound and inbound phone calls
- Ask thoughtful questions to understand clients' financial goals
- Guide borrowers through the mortgage application process
- Collect documentation and maintain accurate loan files
- Work alongside processors and operations teams to ensure a smooth client experience
- Follow proven sales strategies and daily activity goals
- Develop lasting relationships that lead to repeat and referral business

What We're Looking For
- Comfortable making outbound calls; we supply hot leads
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic, discipline and a positive attitude
- Individuals who are competitive, driven, coachable, outgoing and confident
- Someone ready to develop professionally and network within the mortgage industry
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, call centers or other customer-facing roles is preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
Compensation
- Full-time, W-2 position
- Hourly base pay PLUS uncapped commission; performance-based income with significant earning potential
- Many of our successful Loan Officers earn well into six figures
