The Position

Responsible for directing Regional Sales force consisting of Manufacturing Agents, and District Factory Direct Sales Manager in securing and maintaining optimum sales levels.
You will lead 9 West Coast District Sales Managers.
You must reside in West Coat; no relocation assistance available.

Job Duties

Directs and controls activities of regional sales force to maintain performance against quotas as developed by company management.
Owns regional forecasting, pipeline management, and as needed, CRM hygiene; delivers accurate monthly/quarterly forecasts to senior leadership.
Develops and executes the regional sales plan aligned with national sales strategy, revenue targets, and margin objectives.
Monitors regional P&L drivers including volume, price, mix, and selling expense; manages T&E and regional sales budget.
Responsible for effective management and sales of current and new product introductions to current and new customers.
Analyzes competitor activities in relationship to product, pricing, promotions, and new products, etc.
Analyzes customer needs as related to product forecasting, problem solutions, personnel training, and most other activities related to maintaining a sales force.
Directs customer sales efforts by utilizing point of sale material and advertising programs.
Ensure effective channels of communication are maintained in all levels of sales, management, production, and customer service.
Negotiates regional pricing, programs, and contracts within delegated authority; ensures profitable mix and adherence to pricing policy.
Adheres to company pricing policy across all regional accounts.
Collaborate with finance on pricing, programs, regional budget development, and margin analysis.
Partners with marketing, product management, and customer care to launch new products and resolve escalated customer issues.
Identifies emerging market opportunities within the assigned region and translates them into actionable sales plans.
Gathers and channels voice-of-customer feedback to marketing and product management to inform product roadmap, programs, and positioning.
Partners with the regional Sales Centers within the assigned region to drive product throughput, support small-to-medium dealer accounts, and grow B2C end-customer demand.
Partners with the Commercial Sales team to align on shared accounts, coordinate go-to-market efforts and identify cross-selling opportunities that grow total regional revenue.
Partners with the Builder Sales team to support builder accounts within the region, coordinate on specifications and project pipelines, and capture new construction demand.
Represents the company at trade shows, industry associations (e.g., IDA, DASMA), and key customer events within the region.
Recruits, onboards, coaches, and performance-manages District Sales Managers (DSMs); conduct regular ride-alongs, business reviews, and field visits.
Build a capable District Sales Manager bench through ongoing development, performance management, and succession planning.
Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time at their sole and complete discretion.

Qualifications

Proficient at writing business programs letters.
Able to translate customer opportunity into new business.
Should have the experience / capability to work efficiently out of his / her home.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business or 4-6 years related job experience.
