Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Scottsbluff, NE | 13-Week Contract | Night Shift
MTK Healthcare is seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
Position Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical
- Specialty: Adult Med-Surg

- Start Date: ASAP (Quick Start)
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
- Shift: Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatments and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR.
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Active Nebraska RN License (or Compact RN License eligible to practice in Nebraska)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Adult Med-Surg nursing experience
- Current BLS Certification
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Must meet Regional West Medical Center performance expectations throughout the assignment. Contracts may be ended early if performance standards are not met.
