Leg Pain & Vascular Institute is a growing outpatient-based practice specializing in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures for peripheral artery disease, venous disease, and joint embolization (including Genicular Artery Embolization). Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) to join our team 1-2 days a week on a contract basis with guaranteed pay of $400 per day plus additional pay for more than 8 hours of work. This role involves assisting physicians with minimally invasive vascular and pain procedures in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, highly organized, and passionate about patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures (vascular, embolization, venous interventions, etc.)
- Prepare procedure rooms, sterile trays, and imaging equipment
- Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities safely and effectively
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety and infection control protocols
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment readiness
- Provide excellent patient care pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
Qualifications
- ARRT Certification (Required)
- Texas MRT License (Required)
- 1+ year experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or Vascular procedures preferred
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and radiation safety
- BLS Certification preferred
- Experience in outpatient or office-based lab (OBL) setting is a plus
