Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Childwatch Associate to join our team. This role involves supervising children aged 8 weeks to 12 years during camp sessions, ensuring their safety, and engaging them in fun and age-appropriate activities. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing environment that reflects the supportive community of Burn Boot Camp.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in the Childwatch area during parent workouts.
- Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games and arts and crafts.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by sanitizing toys and equipment and completing daily cleaning checklists.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's experience and any concerns.
- Collaborate with the Childwatch Lead to plan activities and discuss any issues.
- Ensure all children are signed in and out securely.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in childcare or a related field preferred.
- Ability to engage children in a variety of activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Must be CPR certified
