Job description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and service commercial properties for a real estate investor in the Southfield, MI area. The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-motivated, and experienced in general property maintenance and repair work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on multiple properties
- Handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repairs as needed
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all properties remain clean, safe, and in good condition
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Communicate with the property owner or manager regarding ongoing maintenance needs
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of general maintenance or handyman experience
- Must have own work van and tools (required)
- Strong knowledge of basic building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple job sites
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
Schedule:
- Up to 40 hours per week (flexible scheduling available)
In Addition:
- Complete landscaping, painting, and general upkeep tasks
