General Manager – Staybridge Suites by IHG
Fairborn, OH
Do you have a proven track record of success in hotel management and want the opportunity to lead a team, drive results, and make a real impact? We are seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to lead the opening and operations of our brand-new Staybridge Suites in Fairborn, Ohio.
Hired during the pre-opening phase, you will play a key role in recruiting, hiring, training, and building a solid team helping establish the hotel’s culture, operational standards, and guest experience from day one. You will also support the ramp-up of hotel sales, marketing, and revenue performance leading into opening.
Upon opening, the General Manager will:
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, breakfast, guest services, sales, and financial performance
- Lead and inspire associates to deliver exceptional guest service and strong operational results
- Execute sales and marketing initiatives while building relationships with local businesses and community partners
- Drive occupancy, ADR, guest satisfaction, and profitability through effective leadership and revenue management strategies
- Maintain strong operational controls, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting practices
- Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards and company expectations
- Partner closely with ownership and provide consistent communication and operational updates
- Create a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years hotel management experience required
- IHG experience preferred
- Prior hotel opening experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on operational mindset with the ability to lead by example
- Strong focus on guest satisfaction and service recovery
- Experience with hotel sales, revenue management, and market segmentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Comfortable working flexible hours including weekends and on-call responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits:
- $65,000 – $70,000 per year based on experience
