Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Practice Manager to lead the operational and administrative functions of a primary care clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of medical office management, demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, and have a proven track record in managing teams and financial operations. As Practice Manager, you will oversee daily practice activities, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster an environment of excellence in patient care and staff performance. Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the practice, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to ensure smooth functioning.
- Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, financial management, billing processes, and expense control to optimize practice profitability.
- Supervise staff including medical administrative support and other healthcare professionals; provide leadership, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and health regulation policies to maintain legal and ethical standards.
- Must have eClinicalWorks experience.
- Coordinate hirings activities including hiring, onboarding, staff development, and conflict resolution to foster a positive work environment.
- Maintain proficiency in medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare management practices to support clinical operations effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Practice Manager with a strong understanding of clinic operations and healthcare administration.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams within a healthcare setting; ability to motivate staff and promote teamwork.
- Expertise in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, managed care processes, and revenue cycle management.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks.
- Knowledge of health regulation policies including HIPAA compliance
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments such as hospitals or clinics.
- Experience with medical administrative support functions including billing, coding, and patient scheduling; knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
