Fish River Rural Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and a National Health Service Corp (NHSC) approved site. NHSC-approved sites are healthcare facilities that provide outpatient, ambulatory, and primary health services in Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs), which are communities with limited access to care. The NHSC is a Federal government program that offers financial and other support to Corps Members.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT / Madawaska Community Health Center
Fish River Rural Health is accepting applications for a full-time Medical Assistant to join our growing Optometry practice. This position is weekdays with no weekend shifts. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced clinic setting, have excellent customer service skills, and enjoy interacting with patients, this position is for you! Experience with an electronic health record is preferred but not required. On-the-job training available for motivated candidates. Excellent benefit package and flexible work schedule.
