Olivina Education, Inc (DBA Olivina Montessori School) provides authentic Montessori Education at the Preschool level in the East Bay.
Olivina Montessori School is looking for an Assistant Toddler Teacher to join the team at our newly acquired Brentwood Campus location!
Our mission is to explore innovative preschool services that provide families and children a well- prepared educational environment that goes beyond what just another daycare would provide. We want to help our families truly enjoy every moment with their child by offering a broad spectrum of services and flexibility which will make managing their busy schedules much easier.
In addition, we are looking for teachers and staff who have the desire and passion to further advance their career through company-sponsored career development. This could include obtaining an AMI/AMS degree or enrolling in courses that would progress your Early Childhood Degree.
To qualify, you must meet the requirement from CDSS, Plus:
- At least one year of experience working in Early Childhood Education.
- One year of experience as a Montessori Classroom Teacher (Preferred)
- Candidates will need to have at least 12 completed ECE units. (if enrolled and working to complete these units, candidate may be considered for an exception by providing proof of enrollment).
- Associate’s degree or higher required.
- Proven track record of outstanding performance in a previous centers.
- Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels.
- Ability to be flexible, willingness to cooperate, desire to be helpful, “yes”-mentality.

**Assistant Teacher is preferred but not required to have a diploma from any MACTE accredited Montessori training program; However, after working for 12 months, you must be willing to attend a school-sponsored Montessori training program.**
